At Blackstone, we pride ourselves in connecting contractors and construction companies with qualified, and experienced tradesmen. However, there are times when some companies just need some extra hands to finish or accept a job. Or perhaps someone calls in sick, and they need someone in a pinch. Don’t let your lack of experience discourage you from applying. As long as you’re hard working, and reliable, our team will prioritize getting you work just as much as any of our other employees.

In many circumstances, fantastic and well reputable companies have their base crew of guys. Sometimes, even though you may have all they need and more, they wouldn’t be able to take you on full time. Regardless of that fantastic resume, they couldn’t utilize your full potential at the time. That’s where Blackstone comes in. There are many times where people will call in sick, and need someone with plenty of experience in a pinch to make a deadline, as well as situations where companies will have jobs on the backburner that they haven’t been able to start because of a lack of manpower, but again, they don’t want to take that manpower on full time because soon after the job is done, they’ll cease to be able to exercise your talent regularly. It’s a fantastic chance to establish a rapport with some industry leaders, and develop not only a positive connection for yourself, but for Blackrock too!

Blackstone issues weekly payments to its employees. The payroll cutoff occurs every Friday, with compensation disbursed on the subsequent Friday. We find the shorter frequency between paychecks something valued by our employees, as they’ll have their money every weekend!

In some circumstances, where you’re needed at a certain location and you cannot get there yourself, we may be able to accommodate getting you there to get the job done!

Blackstone extends comprehensive benefits to its workforce, including medical and dental coverage. Following a continuous three-month period of full-time employment, you become eligible for our Health Spending Account. This account is specifically designed to assist you in covering various medical and dental expenses. To take advantage of these benefits, it is essential to inform Blackstone of your intent to enroll in the program. If we receive excellent feedback from our employers that you’ve been a tremendous asset to their project, and would love to see you back, I wouldn’t be surprised if you had a few free lunches coming your way. We’re working on a custom high quality work jacket with the company logo on the back after one month of full-time employment.

For all worksites, mandatory safety attire includes steel-toe boots, a high-visibility vest, and a hardhat. Any additional requirements specific to your assignment will be communicated to you by your branch.
